Faces

We see faces every day. But how?
Do we see them as anatomical structures – nose, ears, eyes and lips?
Do we see them as ideals? As concepts?
As triggers?
As indicators?
Do we see them as emotions, as feelings?
Do we measure them as thoughts,
Do we watch them as animations?
How do we see faces? ..On how they see us?
Do we see them as masks? As barriers?
Do we sense them as moods? Subconscious?
Do we surmise a separate entity? Can we?

Have you seen a stranger’s face that felt familiar?
Faces are as they are.
But to see faces ought to be to transcend ourselves.
